    Schedule task Stuck - MDM

      Hi All,

       

      I would like to ask a question about LDMS MDM. whenever I create Mobility agent settings and then create a task and push it to mobile device. sometimes it applied quickly but some other time, it stuck and takes one, two or even 6 hours to get applied.

      For Knowing we are always connected to internet and our phone are on.

          Hello,

           

          The only thing that I can think of that would cause this would be the distribution method or task type in the properties of the task. With mobile devices, and any device going through the CSA, the task should be made as a policy. Policy supported push might work for you, however, it is possible for these types of things to happen.

           

          Setting the task as a policy will make the new setting or software available for the client to pull down on its next sync. With that being said, you might not see the task being completed for some devices for at least 24 hours depending on the sync schedule that is configured (Configure>device discovery...>mobility>advanced settings...>device check-in frequency).
