a bit more would be needed to help troubleshoot this..Device type and OS, Product and version. integrated or external scanner, BT vs wired vs com scanner.. i would open a ticket with support on this and have all this info in the ticket when its submitted..

In the Mean time you may want to utilize the HID scan Identifier start and End options to see if this remedies the problem.
