They will probably tell you to update your core and clients to 2016.3 SU1.
We were having an issue (one of many) where LDAV would not pull updates from the core server correctly, usually showing blank in the update field, or databases corrupted. Their solution was to have us run ldave.exe /updatefrominternet on all of the affected systems. After doing this on 1k+ systems, only to have to repeat it every few days, we got pretty fed up with it.
2016.3 SU1 does seem to address a handful of the LDAV issues. Of course, you're still stuck installing a new agent. =-/

Instead of doing the entire agent you can remove and reinstall AV on it's own. I would also recommend trying to restart/start the LANDesk Antivirus service. That sometimes fixes the issue for us outside of reinstalling AV. I have never had to do a full agent reinstall to fix a real-time protection issue.
