LDSM 9.6 PS2 via CSA
I had this error yesterday and reinstalling the Agent seem to fixed, However this keeps happening and I can not be reinstalling until it works....

1. How can I trigger a manual alertsync to test the process?
As per the post I used:
C:\Program Files (x86)\LANDesk\LDClient>AlertSync.exe -f
NOTE: An InventorySync has to be performed in order for the Alert to show on the Core under Inventory/LandeskManagement/Alert RuleSetInstalled.
C:\Program Files (x86)\LANDesk\LDClient\LDISCN32.exe /V (Where /V is optional Inventory Scanner Switches)
This worked and got the files here: C:\Program Files (x86)\LANDesk\LDClient\sdmcache\ldlogon\alertrules
Now why is this not working the first time on install?
Can I not trust the process? I find myself fighting stuff most of the time
