Well - bear in mind that we can only report on what's in the database.
So - as an example ...
- you have 250 devices in AD in "MYGROUP".
- But only 200 of those devices report into LANDesk
... then we're only going to be able to show you 200 devices (since we don't know about the 50 additional devices).
The query is based on what is in the database ... bear in mind that the LANDesk DB isn't a mirror of active directory. It's purely reliant on clients sending in inventory data in the first place.
Does that help you a little bit? Sounds to me like you've got either clients that aren't reporting in at all, or aren't reporting in completely (missing AD information, for instance)?
I was wondering if this information was not directly imported from the AD to the core server.
