If you put all the drivers in the \\core\ldmain\landesk\files\drivers folder and then clicked Build Library in the HII Driver Management Tool for that particular model then in the Assign menu you chose the correct model, OS, and architecture then when you clicked Auto Detect something should have showed up.
You followed the steps correctly, however it is not matching because of an issue where the Inventory is unable to process the returned information from HardwareInfoUtility.exe and store it in the database. Since the hardware info (Driver device ID's and compatible ID's) is not in the database, the autodetection cannot find anything to match up with. This will be fixed in the first 2017.1 patch called SU1. I would recommend contacting support, and logging a case so that you can get notified once the patch is available. We anticipate it to be in mid-July but do not have a release date settled yet as the patch is still in testing.
Thank you very much. I already opened a support ticket and they informed me about the issue and the SU1 patch. I just forgot to update this post.
