It is generally also useful to specify what kind of information you're looking for.
"Documentation" is a bit of a generic catch-phrase -- specifying what sort of "Help" you need with your client(s) will generally help steer the conversation & data into a sensible place.
The following two questions should highlight the differences I'm talking about:
* "I want to know everything about how cars are made" -- too generic.
* "I want to know what I need to know/do/have in order to replace a steering wheel on a Model T Ford 1929" -- very specific, can be addressed MUCH easier.
Specificity leads to more precise & helpful answers.
