    Use DEVICE-SIDE AVALANCHE PROPERTIES in Workstation ID

    dgolovin Rookie

      Hello!

      I need to use Device-Side property value in Device Workstation ID.

      I successfully add property on device with file:

      #FMIdentificator.prf

      vendor = FMLogistic

      FMIdentificator = 851

      #End FMIdentificator.prf

      Then I use syntax in Telnet Host Profiles menu:

      RF12345%vFMIdentificator%

      It is not working - nothing after RF12345 not appeared in Workstation ID

      If I try tu use standard Avalanche device-property (for example "EPCConnectInterval") - everything work.

      Do somebody faced with such problem?

          is the property showing up under the device properties view for a specific device in Avalanche? I'm guessing it shows up as "FMLogistic.FMIdentificator" instead of just "FMIdentificator". That's probably what you're missing. You can also just replace the TerminalID value with this FMIdentificator value and use that as part of the WorkstationID instead of going through the hassle of creating a custom Avalanche Property on the device.
