    Lost clients


      To all you LANDesk gurus... hopefully a simple question:  We are finding (after 2 years of LD) that we have lost some machines from the inventory.  Multiple reasons: User blocked .exe in firewall, client broken, duplicate client ID, etc.  What I'd like to do is to run a login script that will search for a specific log file being updated within X number of days. That will hopefully indicate that the client has lost touch with the core.  Then I can push the client or send out the squads of desktop support to remediate.  Just not sure what file to key on.  Which of the log files update when the client has successfully transmitted inventory to the core??  I've found in some log files that the time stamp changes even when the communication to the core has been unsuccessful.  Any thoughts out there??
