moving to a new domain and IP addresses

    dsjones Rookie

We are in the process of changing our domain and IP addresses.  The majority of my users connect through the Management Gateway.  We have an agent install that was installed on the computers.  If we keep the same name on the core server and gateway but change the IP addresses both external and internal will we have to create a new agent install?

      Any help is appreciated.

Providing you update the external DNS record for your fully qualified domain name so that it points to your new gateway external ip address then you should be fine as the clients are normally set to talk to the fully qualified domain name.  Your only problem will come if you change the FQDN as the clients will need to be updated to know what the new address is.
