we need a bit more information:
- Core OS
- LANDesk version and service pack level
- database version, service pack level and OS
Which rights do you've in LANDesk? Are you assigned to LANDesk Administrators?
Core is LD 8.8 SP2 on Win Server 2003 Enterprise R2 SP2.
DB is Microsoft SQL Server Standard Edition (64-bit) (version 9.00.3239.00) on Win Server 2003 Enterprise R2 SP2.
I have full LANDesk rights - I am a LANDesk admin
If you upgraded from a previous version of LANDesk there is a table that doesnt always update properly. You will want to run this query
Update metaobjattrrelations set tablename = ‘UNMODELEDDATA’ WHERE TABLENAME = ‘ALERTRULESETDEPLOYMENT’
This should return one to two rows.
Once completed close and reopen the console, delete a machine and refresh the screen.
Let me know your results.

In these cases, I usually find it best to run a SQL trace of deleting the machine. The trace should then include the actual that is causing the delete the fail and it can then be addressed.
To all -
Just an FYI. I had the same problem and called LANDesk tech support just before this original question was posted. I spoke to Corrie at LANDesk tech support just before she posted her response above and she gave me the same script as in her response. I ran it on my SQL*Server database and all is working now. I can delete records and they stay deleted. It worked ! Thanks.
Glad it worked for you Andy :)
Thanks a lot for this fix - worked perfectly!!! Now i can clear out all the duplicates!!
