    Policy Invoker Service "Boucning" in Task Manager

      About a month ago we upgraded the core server and web console from LANDesk 8.7 SP5 to LANDesk 8.8 SP2. We want to roll the LANDesk 8.8 SP2 agent to the entire corporation, but on at least one of the pilot machines, we are seeing some strange behaviour with the Policy Invoker service. The service bounces between 0% and 2% on the task manager process list. At the same time, the machine is experiencing lag times in typing and other responses, and the problem seems to disappear when the invoker service is stopped.


      Other pilot machines do not experience this apparently strange behaviour, and I would like to know before we push this out to 2,000 workstations if anyone else has experienced this, and if this behaviour could be considered normal. The last thing I want is clients phoning our Help Desk because suddenly their machines are "slow" after distributing the 8.8 agent.
