The SDP on Mac seems a bit awkward. You have to open the LANDesk Agent.app (which I would prefer to be out of sight anyway) and update policies and if anything is available in the SDP, it will open within a few minutes. This seems counter productive and much more confusing than the Windows counterpart. I would much prefer to see a Software Deployment Portal.app in the Applications folder. I have considered using Applescript to point to the LANDesk PDB Update.app but it doesn't work properly unless the policies are updated first and I don't want to push something out that may change in a future landesk update later.
