Regarding refreshing the dashboard; I do know that some queries that update reports for the Dashboard data get updated when Maintenance runs. You could change your maintenance window to update your dashboard from Configure > Services > Inventory if you needed to.
I believe the Dashboard updates sometime in the middle of the night. I believe it's 3:33am or something. Anyway, you can force a refresh of the Dashboard manually but running the following command:
"C:\Programs Files\LANDesk\ManagementSuite\Dashboardreportservice.exe /run"
The ability to change the "Widgets" on the Dashboard is an enhancement request with growing popularity. This feature is being evaluated for the "Pikes Peak" release of LANDesk. If you want to be added to this request contact a support representative and reference CR 122.
Thanks for your answer!
I tested, and it works!
I created a bat file, that runs frequently. He is scheduled with LANDesk.
