    another partition for software


      Hi all,


      i would like to distribute all the software from another partition on my system. Can somebody give some information what i have to config in the system to do this?


      The whole Core Server is installed on "c:" and on "e:" i would like to hold ol my softwater and os for distribution.

          For software distribution, just set up an IIS virtual directory pointing to the directory where you put the software and if you want UNC distribution, then set up a standard share.


          Take a look at documentation relating to setting up Preferred distribution servers, this will give you more specific details on permissions etc.  There no simple way to re-point existing packages though.
