Before you drop the sledgehammer and reinstall the app, try the following:
1) From the Server menu, choose "Synchronize All tables"
2) If, after a sync, the records do not disappear, you can try a table reload. To do this on a mac admin, hold down the Option key and from the server menu, choose "Reload All tables".
This kind of sounds like a synchronization issue. Most likely there was an old database locally that isn't fully updating. I expect you would find that it would be resolved if you did a "Reload All Tables" from the Server menu. Alternatively, you could remove the local admin databases in ~/Library/Application Support/LANrev Admin/Database and re-sync. Let us know if that clears the issue up for you.
That did it. It also answered my question of why I had "reload" available on my Win7 workstation but not on the El Capitan machine. (option key)
Thanks for the quick turn around folks.
