Can other roles other than Administrators have the ability to save default searches in search dialogue boxes that pop up when linking child records? The options at the bottom are only available when logged in as an Administrator. If it's not possible can a default search criteria be set at the global level?
I don't believe that you can assign rights to those buttons but I honestly haven't looked. As an Administrator if you clck "Save Search as Default" it should save the defined search as the default for all roles. At least that is the way it has been behaving in my system. I have updates the default search on a couple of occasions.
