    Endless Checking for Packages with LANrev server

      I am trying to do a deployment using the Self-Service application, but we are running into quite a few computers that are endlessly checking for new packages so the self-service window never opens. Is there any setting to force the check for packages process to stop after a given amount of time? As it is this has been embarrassing to have my users utilize this feature. We have also found that the messages LANrev displays whether it is busy checking for packages or there are actually no self-service packages available are too similar and it is confusing the layman.
