Unknown error occurred while checking for microsoft software updates

    sawen Rookie

      Hi,

I have a handfull of Windows 7 Machines that are missing windows patches.

Part of the problem is the client actually reporting to LANrev server what is missing. I have setup a smart group that shows computer that haven't sent "Missing Patches Info" in the last 2 weeks. If right click on them and do a manual "scan for missing operating system patches" some will return with missing patches and some come back with the error: "The connection is no longer available (Error=1309)."

and in Command and in the Lanrevagent log file:

CobraClientCheckForMissinOSPatchTask::CheckForSoftwarePatches: Unknown error occurred while checking for microsoft software updates: {536885414}.

If i check the  lanrevosswupdatehelper.log file on the machine that shows that error there are no errors and it has found 60 updates that are missing. Yet in LANrev admin console it shows 222 still.

      Any help would be appreciated!
