I don't know about creating the list automagically, but if you create a list of available shares and use it as a Validation Business Object, you can then set the field as "Validated" when building the form, and use the VBO that you've made.
There may be a way to create that list dynamically, but that's not in my spellbook.
first of all thank you for your response. What the purpose is:
- I want to create a share with the name 'Files Jordy' => I would like to check when the customer types in Files Jordy as sharename, a check is done to see in the cmdb if this file share already exists. If yes, the customer should receive a pop-up (or something else) that this share name is already taken.
Because if I use that field as a validated, it will give me the share names that already exist, but the name needs to be different from those that already exist.
You can create a pick list of all of your shares, which will stay up to date.
I don't see a way in the Service Request Offering form designer to validate an entry as not in a pick list. Perhaps someone else has a trick.
