In order to have other BO's show up in the Form Offering dropdown, you need to create a relationship between it and MyItems.
That said, can you help me understand why using the OOTB "Request Offering" designer (and associated workflow) isn't enough to fulfil this use case?
basically my boss will not replace or antiquated system with something 'uglier'
I did build one but she hated it.
So I thought to use a form offering because the internal form gives greater control
over position/colour/alignment etc
They do want it within HEAT. It needs to show up as a Service Request thus I thought to create a
special form, ultimately it will end up being 3 forms
I read the notes on connecting the BO but Service Request appears to have a connection just not for
Do you also have to have Templates Built within the new BO in order for the BO to show up in the list of Objects?
one of the developers mentioned there is a trick to getting this to be seen as one of the objects - but he did not tell me what is was?
I don't think you do need to have a template to qualify as a form offering...but naturally you must have a layout and give the role access to create the objects.
To get it to work you need to create a relationship between your business object and FRS_MyItem
Then add it to My Items:
After that, it should be able to be seen in the Request Offering dropdown:
