Could you use a Visible Expression on the form to display the required fields from the Employee, based on the special requirements?
Thanks for your feedback. I did try that however the customer who wants this functionality prefers some sort of popup (I can only think about a prompt in HEAT) which displays these special requirements.
Just adding on that, i am able to get the prompt show up... however, it is only when i try to save the incident record, not immediately when i select a customer.
I believe that Quick Actions require positive input and Business Rule Triggers are server side transactions therefore will not execute or trigger until the changes are committed to HEAT.
Although not a popup, perhaps creating a header form where the local(data) is made visible when the customer is changed and meets the requirement would help?
Yes, you are right. Thanks very much for your feedback.
We added a Notes field to the Employee form for our "special people".
We also use the VIP indicator to display the VIP icon in the header. If you add Notes you mark VIP. (or make a new Notes checkbox)
Next to the name fields in Incident/ServiceRequest we have an Quickaction icon that reads the customer or reportedby RecID and searches for the employee record which opens in a new tab to the Brief form in the SDA layout.
This way an analyst is alerted there is a note, only taking action to look at their Employee record if needed.
Hope that helps!
