FileVault2 status with Apple File System and MacOS 10.13 beta

      Greetings,

We've noted that the Disk Encryption Status is showing systems that have upgraded to MacOS 10.13 High Sierra beta with FileVault encryption turned on as being unencrypted. Has anyone else observed this and could anyone from HEAT speak to the availability of a workaround or patch to retrieve the encryption status of drives.

It's unclear as to whether or not this impacts only systems that have converted to Apple File System (APFS) as a part of the upgrade.

          Paul,

As beta software, we currently do not support this.  I am unaware of any information regarding this issue.  If you would like to create a support ticket, then we could raise this with engineering and we would endeavour to keep you updated, but we cannot guarantee any update prior to official release.

However, if you are not already running the latest 7.3.2 software, there were improvements made to FileVault in the  latest version and perhaps upgrading will help.
