      Summary:
At some point in time it maybe necessary to remove a Management Point Application.

      Discussion:
The NetInstall Management Point administers various Management Point Applications. By using the ‘Properties’ dialog box you can determine which Management Applications are installed on a particular Management Point. You can also uninstall Management Applications in the Management Point's ‘Properties’ dialog box, and thus remove them from the Management Point.

      Enterprise Edition:

[*]Highlight the Management Point in the site structure that you wish to uninstall a Management Application from.
[*]Lock the NetInstall Configuration Database.  This is done by clicking the yellow padlock icon located on the toolbar.
[*]Select Tools > Management Point > Properties....
The ‘Properties’ dialog box for the Management Point appears.
[*]The Applications tab informs you which Management Applications are currently installed on the Management Point.
[*]Highlight the Management Application you wish to remove and select the ‘Uninstall’ button.  The application must have the status of ‘installed.’ Repeat this step for any Management Application you wish to uninstall.
[*]Close the ‘Properties’ dialog and save the NetInstall Configuration Database.
[*]If all Management Applications have been uninstalled from the Management Point you should also delete the Management Point icon from the site structure. This task is performed by clicking the ‘Delete’ button from the toolbar.
      Standard Edition:

[*]Select ‘NetInstall Configuration’ from the Tools drop down menu located at the top of the Manager.
[*]Close the ‘Properties’ dialog, and save the NetInstall Configuration Database.
[*]If all Management Applications have been uninstalled from the Management Point you should also delete the Management Point from the Configuration Database. To perform this action select Tools > Management Point > Delete… and then save the Configuration Database.
[*]Restart the NetInstall Manager to remove all instances of the Management Point.
