Here is a list of the invoker states:
The values are:
ExecuteContinue = 0,
UndoContinue = 1,
ExecuteRequested = 2,
UndoRequested = 3,
Executing = 4,
Undoing = 5,
Complete = 6
Thank you for your help.
Can you explain, what does the "undoXXX" action state mean during the distribution process ?
Also, what's the "XXXcontinue" state ?
undo is when you have an uninstall associated with a policy and the machine no longer meets the requirement to have the software installed. The Undo removes the software. This function also deletes LaunchPad links when the target is removed from the task.
not sure on the continue. I'll find out.
The continue. It is just telling it to continue after a re-boot.
do you have an updatet List of invoker states?
in 9.0 we have e.G. invoker State 8...
Thanks a lot.
I have some random machines that hang after the install completes with the status bar continually running. when I check the sdclient log one of hte final lines is "setting invoker state to 2" then:
ProcessInvokerStateRecords() ready to process file: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\LANDesk\ManagementSuite\landesk\files\Active.Task.xml (operation 19)
Then nothing. All three log files from all three installs of this package end the same way. It is the only package that is doing this and it only appears to be happening on one machine. Other packages end the log file properly with a error code and out.
