did the scan go into errorscan? was there a message in the event viewer?
Where is the errorscan? And the Event Viewer on the device doesn't show any errors. Unless you meant on the server?
The Errorscan map is in c:\program files\landesk\managementsuite\ldscan\errorscans (or an alternative driver where you installed LANDesk, of course...)
This map contains all scans that for some reason couldn't be added in the DB. This could also generate errors in the application event log on the Core Server.
OK, errorscan folder has entry and so does event log:
Event Type: Error
Event Source: LANDesk Inventory Server
Event Category: None
Event ID: 4100
Time: 3:24:57 PM
Database exception: SCA4996.SCN, LDInv.dll
Table:Product Column:Definition ID PK:48PmQFyGScrdYV49EQqing==, Thread ID: 10604.
The scan did not show up when going through the Gateway, but did show up as soon as it was back on the local network.
If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.
those are a moderately bad thing. Sometimes reindexing the database helps. Worst case scenario is to disable gatherproducts.
This has only happened on one computer that I know of, at the moment. Should I open a case, Jack? I don't know how to reindex the database, or to turn off gatherproducts.
Thank you for your response,
