Log File for the Script Command MSI ApplyPatch ( 1516 )
          Description
NetInstall ( Script) : A switch that has been added to the script command MSIApplyPatch allows you to write a log file now.

              Peter

I am having the same problems with the corrupted _NI5.ZIP files. Does anyone already got a solution for this problem ?

                Regards,

                  Hi Willem!

If you have only a few projects and a few targets you can copy all files from the master work folder of the project to the targets install folder, something like :

                  xcopy \\%project-master-server%\%nishare%\work\%database%\projects\%guid% \\%target-server%\%nishare%\install\%database%\projects\%guid% /S /E /C /F /H /R /U /Y

My information is, that the corrected patch will be released by enteo next year, so you have to wait.

I get a the patch inofficial, but this patch didn't solve the problem (because the ZIP files aren't recreated and if you delete the ZIP files they won't be created at all ...

In my case I have now about 30 projects released since the wrong patch and there are also about 30 targets (some with very small bandwidth), so I also search for a better solution ...

                  Regards

                  Peter
