Are you talking about the "regeneration" of the LANDesk agent files? the regeneration of all the files on the OS? or the "regeneration" of the files of a specific application? If it is the latter you can user LANDesk Application Virtualization to isolate it.
I am talking about the files in OS. For example, a user install software, modify some system file and download some files to his desktop.
We want after a reboot, all this modification would be ignored and return to originial windows setting. This is what the recovery card do.
Can you understand what I mean?
If I'm not mistaken, it sounds like you want to know if LANDesk supports state management and recovery features similar to applications like Deep Freeze. The answer to that is a definite no, though LANDesk can coexist with Deep Freeze depending upon the way the environment is configured.
Deep Freeze (from Faronics) is the way to go. There is actually a LADesk plug-in for this as well which would probably help you out.
