    WinPE Menu Hanging when OSD on Dell Optiplex 760




      Just a problem i have experienced with trying to deploy an XP image onto a dell optiplex 760, i have captured the syspreped image as per landesks instructions and have also used imagew.exe to validate both my DOS and WINPE image captures of which both run ok. When it comes to deploying the said images on dos i get a message saying “This program cannot be run in DOS mode”


      So i move to my WinPE image to run it but it gets as far as Wiping the partitions and then the OS Deployment Tool doesnt run, it just stays with the wallpaper of the WinPE Screen.


      I have run both images with all the HDD settings in BIOS, AHCI, ATA and legacy, all with the same results, i have also performed the actions in the following articles....











      and have redeployed all pxe reps after each change i made.
