"Which" OEM manufacturer? There's
Would "System - Manufacturer" not cover you?
Bit more information would be useful .
Unfortunately, when I go to System > Manufacturer in my query, our values are not listed.
... then you've got some sort of messed up (or useless) BIOS, on that hardware model sadly. (Unfortunately a reasonably common affair).
Even a humble VM will usually have something worth while in there.
Different OEM Manufactures / Models tend to be "differently capable" (in a "wonderfully inconsistent manner") at having worth while strings, or useless garbage to nothing.
I've had anything from "........." (yes - just dots) on some Intel board last week, to a bunch of "1234567890"-s (not really legitimately useful strings) in there just last week.
This is stuff that's lifted from the BIOS ultimately (Windows picks it up from there -- we pick it up from Windows, in effect) ... it's *possible* that on your particular hardware, yoru vendor expects you to fill out those asset tags / system fields with your own DMI information ... but usually they should have "something vaguely worth while" in there ... though, again - this has been a highly inconsistent data field in BIOS'es for the last 20 years, sadly.
I've no idea how or why this is apparently such a "difficult" thing for OEM's and BIOS vendors to get straight (similar shenanigans can and do often occur with Asset Tag and such fields too).
It's happening on all models. Oh well, not really a big deal I guess. I was just hoping to query against it to see which machines are using newer images and the ones that are not.
