how to use dbo.account instead of domain account whithin config-script

    Rainer.Bregulla Rookie

      Hi,

how could i use dbo\account instead of domain\account in the script below and what has to be changed:

Or what is the correct syntax to use sql-authentication within script?

On the GUI ther is a switch to change authentication-mode:

      $ProductName = "Personalization Server"

      $ServiceUsername = "DOMAIN\AppSensePersonalizationServerService"

      $ServicePassword = "password"

      $DatabaseServer = "SQLSERVER\Instance"

      $DatabaseName = "AppSensePersonalizationServer"

      # Load cmdlets for appropriate product

      Import-Module AppSenseInstances

      Import-ApsInstanceModule -ProductName $ProductName -IsDefault

      # Create service credential object

      $SecurePassword = ConvertTo-SecureString -AsPlainText $ServicePassword -Force

      $ServiceCredential = New-Object System.Management.Automation.PSCredential ($ServiceUsername, $SecurePassword)

      # Install/fix all prerequisites

      Get-ApsPrerequisite | Install-ApsPrerequisite

      # Create database

      Initialize-ApsDatabase -DatabaseServer $DatabaseServer -DatabaseName $DatabaseName -ServiceCredential $ServiceCredential

      # Configure server

      Initialize-ApsServer -DatabaseServer $DatabaseServer -DatabaseName $DatabaseName -ServiceCredential $ServiceCredential

      Many thanks

      rainer
