I'll try to get some eyes on this thread from the folks over AV ... (limited help, but at least the visibility should get things rolling).

Folks are working on an official response (in need of sign off) - looks like you got ahead of us being ready for it. So ... "it's coming" . We're not being blind-sided .
I saw that response from Eugene but Eugene is not Ivanti. We have support with Ivanti and the Kaspersky product has been re-branded as Ivanti. My customers would like to know Ivanti's official stance on the topic because they have concerns that their environments are not fully protected. I have informed them that a response is coming, as Holfmann has mentioned above.

As ecoidan pointed out however, The "Kaspersky" response is really mainly for "full" Kaspersky customers (Which is why we're finalising our own on top of things).
Since Ivanti is OEM'ing the AV-engine, things are somewhat different (i.e. - we control what the AV is to do / how it is to behave, etc) - so, since the situation is quite different, it makes sense to have that request for a clarifying statement (which to the best of my knowledge is still being finalised -- unfortunately some legalities tend to take quite a bit of time).
To pre-empt, perhaps, any concerns - I strongly suspect that the end result (i.e. - "the official Ivanti statement") will be somewhat a counter-climax from an excitement point of view (anyone who has a general understanding how OEM'ed software tech works can guess at the general workings & limitations involved).
