You could achieve this using the contextual menu item, "View Text File".
Use your script to report the % values to a file and then set the "View Text File" to read this file and refresh every x amount of seconds
thanks for the suggestion, but that would be too much effort for my colleagues and scripting wise.
If I'd wanna go with a extra file, I could also write a small program that reads the file in user-context and shows the actual progress directly to the end-user.
I was just hoping there was a possibility to somehow have LANrev report the real progress of an installation.
I assume you are aware of the 'Progress bar' option in each Software Package/Metapackage, User Interaction tab.
Yes, but the progress bar only shows Downloaded, CRC checked, installation started and installation done, there is no gradual process bar showing the actual progress of an installation if it's provided by the installer.
