    Knowledge article permissions

    tdale@lynden.com Apprentice

We are deploying HEAT 2016.2 and have three knowledge article types and three levels of audience that we want to allow access.

Public - can only view articles in the Public collection

All IT - Everyone, all collections other than Public

Team only - Only the users on the same team as the Owner of the article.

Anyone know how to achieve the three levels of access?

Now when we set the permissions back to the below settings of Keep and Delete boxes and removed the Add section, in other words back to out of the box, only the author can see the article.

We modified the out of the box settings to allow 5 different Team Access and realized this was too restrictive

These were the changes we made.
