      Unable to get inbound mail working. Getting several errors “Failed to create Incident record Error”

      The errors when attempting to process the incoming messages are listed below:

      This is the error received before disabling any business rules:

      Error 1:

      Failed to create Incident record Error: System.ServiceModel.FaultException: Unhandled system exception: System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: Server was unable to process request. ---> HEAT.Email.EmailAddressFormatException: Invalid email address '$(GetGlobal("ListenerEmailAddress"))' in field From. SendEmail action Owner Team Assignment, Incident.IncidentNumber '10098' (58A25AB3B14349778BB7BEFDA617336B). ---> System.FormatException: The specified string is not in the form required for an e-mail address.

       

      This is the error received after disabling all business rules: (Note the status “Logged” has been renamed to “Awaiting Assignment” All business rules that referenced the “Logged” status have been updated to reflect this.

      Error 2:

      Failed to create Incident record Error: System.ServiceModel.FaultException: Unhandled system exception: System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: Server was unable to process request. ---> DataLayer.DataObjectFieldValidationException: Incident((newsrv4721C48A40BB4E93B7B6D3CC8986C06F)): 'Logged' is not in the validation list of validated field Incident.Status; Incident((newsrv4721C48A40BB4E93B7B6D3CC8986C06F)): Required field Incident.Service value must be provided; Incident((newsrv4721C48A40BB4E93B7B6D3CC8986C06F)): Required field Incident.Owner value must be provided.
