When using the Social Board - if a message is posted the Social Board icon (bubble) only turned green and shows there is a message if the Social board tab is open.
If the social board tab is not open then the icon does not show that any messages have been posted.
Seems this is standard functionality as per user's guide - would that mean we have to set the social board to open by default for the service desk analysts role? Otherwise we are finding that because we don't open the social board workspace by default then no one is aware when messages are getting posted.
Also a roadmap for chat is highly appreciated. For example chat only works with group / team membership. It would be great if this feature is available from within a record - for example. For an incident in the incident workspace a social board plugin or child panel where users can collaborate. This would expand usage beyond just social board workspace and the membership management overhead of users.
