    categorie affecter à utilisateur

    Rookie

      Bonjour,

      Merci

      Cordialement,

            Hi Brice,

A user may be in one or several groups.

So you may create a special group for your user and put him in his normal group AND in this special group.

Next you will be able to assign a special category to this new special group.

In my company I divide groups belonging from company hierarchy(in bold) in smaller groups use to assign incidents.

I just identify these groups with parenthesis like that

General Manager - IT - Development

            General Manager - IT - Development - (software1)

            General Manager - IT - Development - (software2)

General Manager - IT - Production

General Manager - IT - Production - (servers)

General Manager - IT - Production - (active directory)

            Regards

If I am reading correctly  you have a category attribute that once selected will assign to a Suggested Group but you want to assign down to an individual instead?

If this understanding is correct, there is nothing special that is happening here that cannot be used to assign to a user as well.

I think you are talking about Service Request here so I assume the Category attribute on a new request.  If you look at the CATEGORY business object under Request Management in B.O.D you will probably see a "Assign Group" (or similarly named) related attribute.

What you would need to do is drop the SYSTEM > USER object onto this CATEGORY object to create a 1-to-1 related attribute and name it say "Assign User".  Also add it to the administration window for this CATEGORY business object and pick the users on the category levels you want (note you can select Assign Group and/or User for each level).

Then in your Service Request process somewhere either immediately before or after the Start (green) status you should see an assignment action (arrow); in here you should see the GROUP field picking the Assign Group value from the category selected via a value type.  Do the same on the USER field but instead pointing at the Assign User attribute on the Category object.

Voila (my only piece of French you wont need to translate)!

                Hello,

My category heading is divided into 2 main files.

                - Requests

                - Incidents

In the requests I add a topic that I would like to assign to a user.

But I only have the option of choosing one assignment to a group.

Is it possible to set up this finer setting?

                Thank you

                Regards,
