Hi everyone, I have been asked to look into if it's possible to change the default content that is provided in outbound emails when clicking the 'Mail' button at the top of the Web Desk page. For example when clicking the mail button currently, outlook pops open a window with the Subject stating the page you were on (ex: LANDESK Web Desk - Home-Analyst Workload) and the body has a link to the page. Is there a way to edit or tailor this information? All I have been able to find is information about modifying notifications in the process flow but not anything about the Mail button that is on header bar. Thanks!
This is system functionality to allow you to email the link to a web page and as far as I am aware it cannot be changed.
What are you trying to achieve?
That was what I remembered from my training as well Julian, I just wanted to confirm. Basically my coworkers were wanting to see if we could do something like change the title or description without having to manually do it each time.
For example, if you click the Mail button from an Incident the subject looks like 'LANDESK Web Desk - Incident - 1234567' but they were wanting to see if it could also include the incidents Title such as 'LANDESK Web Desk - Incident - 1234567 - Monitor Not Powering On'. A lot of our customers don't really keep track of their ticket numbers so the subject line as it is now doesn't mean a whole lot to them.
