Is this a new Agent install or are you installing over a older one?

i explain last week we intalled a new core server with 88 sp3 LDMS.
and i installed the new agent on the old 8.7 sp6 but the old agent did'nt work becouse somebody desabled the service and changed it's stadus from auto to manual
but the new agent didn't work even uninstall it, but curiouse case is that landesk antivirus is not shown on the list of windows services.
this server is very important and is in product we can't restart it many times.

I know it talks about outlook but I have seen it work on other SP3 installs
where the AV service will not start.
After applying the patch you only need to run a AV update task from the core
and it should resolve the issue.
Sorry but i installed the client patch yesterday but no changes
After installing the patch Aaron mentioned to the core server and reinstalling the agent did you reboot the agent? A lot of time time with any AV Product(LDAV included inorder to install over the top of an existing product the client needs to be rebooted.
If you did reboot is all other LDMS parts of the client working?
the reboot of the server is too critical and complicated because it's a cluster.
but i'll do it tomorow.
but aim of the probleme is that the service landesk antivirus does not apear in the list of windows services.
i have the same pb in an other server landesk antivirus doesn't apear, when i click activating the live scan error 0x80004005 apears)
i have uninstalled the antivirus after restarting i installed the package and now i have the same probleme no landesk service is shown on list of services
i notice that the problem is esentially with 2003 server.
and poit something out that with 2003 server sp2 there is no problem but it origanely from the 2003 server with sp1
