    ping with leading zeros

Is there a way to add or change the way IP addresses are looked at in LDMS?  Let me explain:

I am trying to use console extender, and setting up a ping, ping by IP, and nslookup options.

      • Executable: %WINDIR%\system32\cmd.exe
      • Command Line: /k ping -a -t <Computer.Network.TCPIP.Address>

The problem I am having is the format of the IP in landesk is 010.010.010.010.

If I open a command prompt and type "Ping -a 010.010.010.010" I receive ack from 8.8.8.8.

      This is documented by Microsoft:

Does anyone else have this issue or any ideas around it?

Maybe, there is a way to call a LANDesk executable or utility?

... you can always use an AutoIT file or VBScript to work around this, with your own logic (I will admit it's a bit odd that Microsoft chose to go binary with this, but oh well)? Seems an easy enough solution ...

          I.e. Launch

          ""

          MyAutoIT_Conversion.exe <IP-with-leading-0's>

          ""

would then start a ping to the proper IP address?
