$(CurrentUserDisplayName()) is returning 'Internal Services', not the actual logged in user on workflow.

I'm trying to set a Service Request to "Active" with an update block when a user accepts a task in the SR. The Update block is requiring the Owner to be set also.

In the Update block when using $(CurrentUserDisplayName()) to set the owner it's returning "Internal Services" instead of the logged in user. That user is not valid and the workflow is failing with the error:

'Workflow update object': ServiceReq(7959AE9C0D0D4506BA08FCBDAE52209B): 'Internal Services' is not in the validation list of validated field ServiceReq.Owner..

Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?
