The Search in Self Service Mobile UI search only searches for FAQ types not knowledge base articles.
How to set this up to search knowledge base articles?
The admin help > Customizing the Self Service Mobile User Interface, states the search tab will list both FAQs and knowledge base.
Our system is not displaying the knowledge articles in the search.
It looks like you don't have Knowledge configured in the Search Top Level Tab in the Self Service Mobile Role. Only FAQ and Announcement.
By default it has the following configuration:

It looks like Knowledge has been removed from your configuration.
Yes the search was removed from the top level, once I added the tab back and selected knowledge the search returned results.
