    Update Notification to Owner of Task

      I would like to know how to have the owner of a service request be notified when the customers makes an update to their request.

          You should be able to do this with a triggered business rule on ServiceReq.  You can set the trigger "On Link" and then choose the relationship to Journal.Email.  From there go ahead and build the Send Email action you need to send out.
