I've always promoted that you should only have an E-mail Address in your Database once. You should never have one E-mail Address associated with two or more Contacts for the very reason you are seeing right now.
I would suggest that you have the one Business Contact and then use the Additional Contact as the Personal Contact.
If you have a 1-to-Many relationship between the Contact and other contacts then I suggest that you use the Relationship Tree with is capabilities.
Thank you for this. The additional contact will not suffice as we have automated processes for each contact with regard to the preparation of their personal and business tax returns, so the contacts need to be distinct from each other.
Can you direct me to either a video or other of how I can handle this with the relationship tree, as I have attempted this and viewed a few online videos, but it did not seem to address this issue.
Thank you again
I believe that FrontRange will let you review GoldMine Premium - The Definitive Guide or the Training Videos on their website. You'll have to contact them for the website.
You do know that MergeCodes are available for both the Primary & Additional Contacts, and that these can be used in E-mail Campaigns?
