try doing a repair install of GoldMine on that workstation from the control panel's programs area.
This is usually a user specific issue and there is a great Knowledgebase article available by logging in at support.heatsoftware.com
KM 26826 - One user is randomly getting error: "Unable to add process to tree control.
If this does not help, please open an incident with the GoldMine Support Desk and advise that you followed the above KM but the issue is still happening.
Hello all, the fix was that the application needs to be set to "Run as Administrator"
