Does anyone know if it's possible to add or include the requestor/submitter's name in the Approval form? A manager in our organization clicked on an approval link and it showed the information/fields included within the Service Request, but it doesn't show who requested it. They asked if we could add it on the form so they would know who requested it before approving/denying. I know we could include a "Customer name" field or something like that in the Service Request (that would appear on the approval page), but hoping to avoid that and set something up on the form.
Not the custom form, this is the depth of configuration for that form...
You can, however, build a custom layout that can include all of that information. You can even have tabs in that situation. Since it's self service that's usually using My Items, you'd want to make a read-only layout so they can't make edits.
I'd suggest a new layout with just the fields they need to see. Child tabs are not required either.
