I've only just spotted this is in the wrong area so moving it to the servicedesk area. I'm afraid I don't know much about the Meditech email engine but perhaps someone else might.

I don't know the Meditech system either, but I have a couple of ideas that might help. If you're passing a tagged html string in the email that is designed to automatically open the browser, can I suggest that you create a plain text version of the URL and include that in the email. If you want to be even more slick, you could add a flag to the user record which indicates if they are users of Meditech and then in the process design determine if they are and send an email specially formed for them.
