    Frustrated autodisk mount

    Apprentice

We are trying to create two partitions in Landesk through provisioning where Partition 2 stores the image for redeployment in future.

We want to unmount this partition and also assign it a letter m:

None of this works due to everytime Landesk Boots in the provisioning it assigns letters to all the drives.

Can someone assist with removing this feature or how to get aroung it.

      Thanks.

You mean each time it boots to WinPE?

WinPE is its own Operating System and doesn't store settings in between boots.  So maybe what you are really looking for is a way to make WinPE maintain settings on boot, or make WinPE not load all the drives on boot.  Google search for how to do this in WinPE, because it has nothing to do with LANDesk.

Have you tried to make the partition a hidden partition?
