Turning off the cart functionality would be the best option. This can be done in the Mobile self service setup.
- Login to Mobile Self Service and switch to the admin role
- Select the configuration spanner at the bottom of the page (top if not 2017.x)
- Select settings from the menu then Service Request
- Untick the Shopping cart box.
- Click Save (top right) then confirm the change wait for an alert top middle that will confirm it has saved.
