Simple answer is no...there is a but. If you look at something like the Frs_MyItem object every time records are added to incident they update the Frs_MyItems object, you can create similar objects are rules to power the dashboard if needed.
Thank you for your speedy reply (my response was slow as I was waiting to see if anyone else commented).
That unfortunately looks to be a little outside of our development remit and with our analyst's able to create two distinct dashboards and flick between the two (as a work around) I think we have quite a few other high priority tasks to deal with at the moment.
Once again thanks for your response,

The only way I've been able to accomplish this is by relationship to the object. For an example, I've set up a "Voting Booth" Panel in Dashboards for our Change Advisory Board. It is the Approval Vote Tracking object, but I have data copied over "into" the approval vote tracking module on a parent Change# record. So the data exists in both locations in the Change & in the Approval Vote Tracking. This way our CAB can look at the sum/desc/RiskAssess/Sched Date/Time, etc. and vote all in one place.
This is done via On-Load Calc Rules: Ex (Change #) $([FRS_Approval#.][Change#.]ChangeNumber) to a field matching it in Approval.
I do this for all the fields you can see on my screenshot. Ultimately this allows me to pull this data into the dashboard to show mixed data. and allows me to do what you see there.
I know you asked for a way to look up two objects at once in a panel (which is a limitation unfortunately in a dashbaord as each panel can only be directed to one) so if you can't look at 2 objects, pool data from the relationship to one object was my solution. Not the most practical approach, but we gotta do what we gotta do!
It's unorthodox and I don't suggest doing it if you can help it, but... we had a problem with our CAB not voting because it was "cumbersome" so I built them a one-stop shop to take away the excuses for not voting in a timely manner.
NOt sure if this fits your need, but hope it helps a bit GL!
Thanks for the valuable feedback. We have not done any real customisation of our Self Service Portal yet, so when we do we will look into giving the searches the additional ability to search across multiple Business Objects.
